In 2008 we achieved our kite mark for work done with parents .

Parents

Parents are encouraged to take part in all areas of school life.  This can involve parents helping within class or on the playing field or in areas such as library work and fund raising.  Apart from asking parents for help we offer courses for parents in a variety of areas.  

Courses followed to date are:
• Computers for beginners
• The value of reading
• Helping your child write
• Making Story Stacks
• Cricket
• Helping your child with maths
• Stay and play ( a morning session each week where parents work alongside their child on a given project)
• Numeracy to GCSE level
• Literacy to GCSE level
• First Aid

We are open to offers for other workshops.
