Residential Trips

From the age of 6 children are offered the opportunity to attend residential trips. These are subsidised by our school budget but parents are asked to give a donation towards the overall cost. The trips arranged are as follows:-

Year 2-4

Burwardsley

Children have the opportunity to visit a dairy farm, candle factory and follow local nature trails.

Beeston

The children visit an historic castle, a farm and follow local walks.

Delamere

Set amidst acres of beautiful forest, the children can experience the forest during night and day as well as a visit to the badgers set. Den building and river dipping provide lots of extra fun and learning.

All trips are 2-3 days.

Years 5-6

Gradbach Youth Hostel

A three day trip in the heart of Derbyshire staying in an old Water Mill. The children have the opportunity to do a whole day walk, river dip, sketch, orienteer and enjoy the beauty of the local area.

North Wales Outward Bound Trip

4-5 days are spent near Barmouth, taking part in a variety of challenging activities such as Rock-Climbing, Canoeing, Abseiling, Pony Trekking, Mountain Biking and Swimming. A truly invigorating experience with fully trained qualified instructors.
