Florence is in the region of Tuscany and has many historical and cultural marvels to explore. Florence has managed to stay preserved as it still holds a medieval style centre. The atmosphere in Florence is very traditional but can be quite busy if you visit in peak summer season.

Historical Verona gives travellers and residents plenty to do with lots of activities, nightlife and sightseeing. When visiting the city's most prominent landmark I experienced a sense of true class, the Arena is host to many operatic performances. I am not usually one for the opera but the Arena served the perfect atmosphere of a warm evening listening to the voices of talented singers.

The famous leaning tower of Pisa was everything I expected. A great historical masterpiece, which hopefully will carry on standing for many years to come.

Leaving Italy I headed back up north to France again. Concentrating this time on the countries capital. Paris was my favourite place visited on the trip, as it was so open. There was limited access for me in some of the other countries, but in Paris the Metro served its purpose of showing me the whole of the city.

The Eiffel Tower and the Arc De Triomphe are magnificent sights and travelling around the city is a main way of seeing all the different cultures the city has to offer.

Brussels is a sophisticated bustling city that is host to many European business personnel's. I found the city to have a lot of modern character and I really enjoyed window shopping in Sablon and ave Louise and lazing, taking in the atmosphere with a cool beer in the cafes.
