RETAIL

Retailing can offer you an interesting career in a fast moving and exciting environment.

Your Training at Levels 1 and 2 will cover:

• Customer service
• Health and safety in the workplace
• Good house-keeping routines
• Security
• Handling stock and product knowledge
• Processing the Sale
• Communications within the organisation
• Returned goods and complaints
• Stock displays

Once you have achieved a level 2 qualification, or if you are working in a supervisory role, then you could have the opportunity to undertake a level 3 qualification.

Level 3 covers Supervisory aspects including:

Training and assessment for the qualification takes place in the workplace.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

There are no formal entry requirements, however candidates should be interested in dealing with members of the public.

Opportunities and Career Progression:

When you have achieved your qualification you can look towards enhancing your retailing career in a variety of outlets, from large department stores to a local shop. Progression from sales assistant to manager - the option is yours!
