Warehousing skills and training available Warehousing is a vital part of the British economy, providing increasing opportunities for suitably motivated people. Ever increasing amounts of employers are looking for qualified workers to ensure their products keep moving. Your Training at Levels 1 and 2 will cover:

Health and Safety
Security of the workplace
Movement of stock
Team work and co-operation
Receiving/Verifying goods
Order picking
Operating and Maintaining Handling equipment

Supervisory aspects of warehouse work are examined Once you have achieved a level 2 qualification, or if you are working in a supervisory role, then you could have the opportunity to undertake a level 3 qualification.

Level 3 covers supervisory aspects:

Organising work schedules
Servicing meetings
Health, Safety and Security requirements
Monitor and Implement new procedures

Training and assessment for qualification takes place in the workplace.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

There are no formal entry requirements however candidates should have good communication skills, a commitment to hard work and an ability to work as part as a team.
